15:16. മെനഹേം തിപ്സഹും അതിലുള്ള സകലവും തിർസ്സാതൊട്ടു അതിന്നു ചേർന്ന പ്രദേശങ്ങളും ശൂന്യമാക്കി; അവർ പട്ടണവാതിൽ തുറന്നു കൊടുക്കായ്കയാൽ അവൻ അതിനെ ശൂന്യമാക്കുകയും അതിലെ ഗർഭിണികളെയൊക്കെയും പിളർന്നുകളകയും ചെയ്തു.

15:16. At that time Menahem came from Tirzah and attacked Tiphsah. He struck down all who lived in the city and the surrounding territory, because they would not surrender. He even ripped open the pregnant women.

15:16. At that time Menahem destroyed the town of Tappuah and all the surrounding countryside as far as Tirzah, because its citizens refused to surrender the town. He killed the entire population and ripped open the pregnant women.

15:16. Then Menahem smote Tiphsah, and all that were therein, and the borders thereof, from Tirzah: because they opened not to him, therefore he smote it; and all the women therein that were with child he ripped up.

15:16. At that time Menahem sacked Tiphsah and all who were in it and its territory from Tirzah on, because they did not open it to him. Therefore he sacked it, and he ripped open all the women in it who were pregnant.

15:16. Then Menahem smote Tiphsah, and all that [were] therein, and the coasts thereof from Tirzah: because they opened not [to him,] therefore he smote [it; and] all the women therein that were with child he ripped up.

15:16. At that time Menahem sacked Tappuah and all who were in it and its territory from Tirzah on; because they did not open it to him, therefore he sacked it, and he ripped up all the women in it who were with child.

15:16. Then Menahem smote Tiphsah, and all that were therein, and the borders thereof, from Tirzah: because they opened not to him, therefore he smote it; and all the women therein that were with child he ripped up.

15:16. Then doth Menahem smite Tiphsah, and all who [are] in it, and its borders from Tirzah, for it opened not [to him], and he smiteth [it], all its pregnant women he hath ripped up.

15:16. Menahem defeated Tiphsah and the area around it. The people refused to open the city gate for him. So Menahem defeated them and ripped open all the pregnant women in that city.

15:16. Then Menahem struck Tiphsah, and all who were therein, and the borders of it, from Tirzah: because they didn\'t open to him, therefore he struck it; and all the women therein who were with child he ripped up.

15:16. Then H227 Menahem H4505 smote H5221 H853 Tiphsah, H8607 and all H3605 that H834 [were] therein , and the coasts H1366 thereof from Tirzah H4480 H8656 : because H3588 they opened H6605 not H3808 [to] [him] , therefore he smote H5221 [it;] [and] H853 all H3605 the women therein that were with child H2030 he ripped up.
